Crain’s Grand Rapids Business named this year’s 200 Influential Leaders in their inaugural Grand Rapids 200 publication, and among them is Eastern Floral’s very own Bing Goei.
The list includes leaders from all sorts of key industries across the West Michigan Region, from Arts & Entertainment and Banking & Finance to Technology and Travel & Tourism. Chosen by the editorial team based solely on news judgment, the list of 200 influential leaders highlights community members who impact some of West Michigan’s top news stories of the day.
Included in the Retail category is the CEO of Eastern Floral, Bing Goei. In addition to his role at one of the largest floral businesses in Michigan, he is the founder of the Goei Center and serves on the board of Degage Ministries. In 2014, Bing served as the first director of the Michigan Office for New Americans and, in 2022, was awarded the Hillman-Orr Award from the World Affairs Council of Western Michigan.
Bing also shared a word of advice with readers, “It’s not what you know or who you know. It is who knows you that creates opportunities.”
